Telangana DCA busts unauthorized manufacturing of certain drugs in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Apr 4 (UNI) Telangana Drugs Control Administration (DCA) officials have busted unauthorized manufacturing of certain drugs at Ovoid Pharmachem Private Limited in Jeedimetla village of Medchal-Malkajgiri district.
Acting on credible information, the officials conducted raids at Ovoid Pharmachem Private Limited., located at Subashnagar in Jeedimetla Village, on Wednesday and Thursday and detected unauthorized manufacturing of certain drugs, DCA Director General VB Kamalasan Reddy said in a release here.
During the raid, DCA officers detected 19 drums containing stocks of 87 Kgs of Itraconazole 35 percent Pellets and 800 Kgs of Activated Charcoal 250 mg and Simethicone 80 mg Pellets, manufactured without a drug licence.
