ACB registers disproportionate assets case against Sub-Registrar in Telangana

Hyderabad, April 22 (UNI) The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) initiated a case of Disproportionate Assets against Taslim Mohammed, Sub Registrar Grade-I of Mahabubabad in Warangal district (currently suspended), for allegedly acquiring assets through corrupt practices and dubious means during her service.

The offense, punishable under U/Sec 13 (1) (b) r/w 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (as amended in 2018), led to preliminary searches conducted on Monday at her residence and five other locations associated with her and her relatives, according to an ACB statement.
