Attack on transwoman: Min intervenes, Youth Commission registers case

Kochi, Oct 14 (UNI) Kerala Minister for Health and Social Justice K K Shailaja on Wednesday assured police security to a transgender woman, who is engaged in biriyani sale on the street-side here and a few persons allegedly interrupted her business and attacked her.
Sajna Shaji alleged that a person who was doing another business on the same street recently started biriyani sale along with his family to interrupt her business.
Sajna said, "they have placed a hoarding covering ours. When any vehicle stops on the road, they rush towards it and sell food from their stall. The man and his group continued to attack us in various ways", she said.
