GRP/RPF seizes over 203 kgs of Ganja, arrests two Women

Hyderabad, Apr 5 (UNI) The Government Railway Police (GRP) and Railway Protection Force (RPF) have apprehended two women and confiscated 203.400 kgs of Ganja, valued at approximately Rs 50.85 lakhs in the grey market.

The seizure took place on Thursday during a routine inspection of Train No. 12656 Navjeevan Express from Mahabubabad to Warangal at around 1910 hours. The suspects, identified as Chandabai Bhima Beldar (62) and Usha Dilip Chavan (43) from Maharashtra, were found acting suspiciously in a general coach with plastic bags placed under their seats, a police statement said on Friday.
