Bengaluru, April 3 (UNI) A man attempted to end his life by allegedly slitting his throat in the presence of Chief Justice Nilay Vipinchandra Anjaria, on the premises of Karnataka High Court here on Wednesday, police said.
The man, identified as Srinivas from Mysuru, handed over a file to the security staff before carrying out the act, police said.
Despite immediate response from security personnel, Srinivas managed to inflict self-harm and was promptly taken to Bowring Hospital for treatment, they added.
