DK Shivakumar, MB Patil exude bonhomie amidst Twitter spat

Udaipur, May 13 (UNI) Amidst Twitter spat between the aides of Karnataka Congress President DK Shivakumar and LoP Siddaramaiah over the alleged meeting between MB Patil and Minister Dr CN Ashwath Narayan, the fighting Congress leaders exuded bonhomie on the first day of three-day Congress Chintan Shivir convened by AICC interim president Sonia Gandhi in the city on Friday.
The Office of Karnataka Congress posted the laughter pictures of Shivakumar and Patil, in the company of Siddaramaiah and Rajya Sabha LoP Mallikarjun Kharge in an attempt to obliterate the internecine fighting among state Congress leaders.
Patil is a close aide of Siddaramaiah, who is at loggerheads with Shivakumar, as both are chief ministerial aspirants. It was due to the intervention of AICC Vice President Rahul Gandhi that brought about a temporary truce between the two leaders.
