K Reddy stages Rythu Deeksha in Hyderabad accuses Cong Govt of farmer betrayal

Hyderabad, Apr 15 (UNI) Union Minister and Telangana BJP President G Kishan Reddy staged a Rythu Deeksha at the party office on Monday, condemning the Congress government for failing to fulfill promises made to farmers.
Addressing the gathering, Reddy highlighted the injustices faced by farmers under the previous regime, accusing the current administration of neglecting agricultural concerns.
He criticized the Congress leadership, including Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, Mallikarjuna Kharge, and Revanth Reddy, for making empty assurances to farmers without delivering tangible results.
Reddy emphasised the BJP's commitment to supporting farmers and promised to continue advocating for the implementation of agricultural welfare programs. He called upon the people of Telangana to hold the Congress party accountable for its unfulfilled promises and reiterated the BJP's solidarity with the farming community.
Furthermore, Reddy praised the initiatives undertaken by the Narendra Modi government to uplift agriculture, including the provision of subsidies, infrastructure development, and measures to prevent fertilizer black marketing.
He contrasted the BJP's proactive approach with what he described as the Congress party's failure to address farmers' needs effectively.
The BJP's protest drive aims to raise awareness about the Congress government's alleged deception of the people through unfulfilled promises, particularly regarding agricultural reforms. Reddy affirmed the party's commitment to continue supporting farmers until their demands are met.
