Liquor shops witness long queues in city as Telangana govt announces 10-day lockdown from May 12

Hyderabad, May 11 (UNI) Long queues were witnessed at almost all liquor shops across the city on Tuesday just after the Telangana government announced a 10-day lockdown in the state from Wednesday due to the spike in COVID-19 cases.
Social distancing went for a toss as people queued up to get their stock for the lockdown period.
Some seemed to be puruchasing liquor boxes, while some bought only two to three bottles. It looked as if there is no Coronavirus in the city.
