Hyderabad, Apr 11 (UNI) People going out in public places in Telangana without face masks will attract a penalty of Rs 1,000.
In view of the continuing record rise in COVID-19 cases, the state government issued an Order on Sunday in this regard.
The order issued by Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar said that to prevent spread of COVID-19 cases, wearing of face masks was made mandatory in all public places, workplaces and public transport.
