Vijayawada, Jul 29 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh government has set a loan target of Rs 2,51,600 crore for the bankers for the financial year 2020-21 at the 211th State Level Bankers Committee (SLBC) meeting and of which the agriculture loan target is pegged at Rs 1,28,660 crore.
The SLBC meeting, which was held here on Wednesday under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has decided to increase the quantum of agriculture loans by 11.9 per cent and the increase in overall loans was pegged at 9.78 per cent as compared to the previous year.
The target for agriculture loans for 2020-21 was placed at Rs.1,28,660 crore which is more than the half of the total loan outlay of Rs 2,51,600 crore at the meeting.
