APSRTC operating special buses for Dasara festival: Minister

Vijayawada, Oct 24 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) is operating special buses at AP-Telangana border to meet the rush of passengers during dasara festival days.
Special APSRTC buses have been arranged at all the check posts on the AP-Telangana border for people of Andhra origin willing to visit their native places for the Dasara Festival, said Minister for I&PR Perni Venkataramaiah.
Speaking to the media in Hyderabad here on Saturday, he said that people could go to the AP-Telangana border check posts to take a bus to their native place in AP. Those who live in Hyderabad and want to go to their native places in Andhra Pradesh, should reach the Telangana-Andhra border in Telangana State Road Corporation buses and then board APSRTC buses to reach their destinations in AP. The talks between the AP and Telangana officials to run buses in the two states ended in a fiasco here on Saturday.
