Take steps to get approval from Centre for Disha Bill : CM asks officials

Vijayawada, Oct 4 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has asked the officials concerned to take steps for getting approval for the Disha Bill from the Centre.
The Chief Minister held a high level review meeting on Law and Order here on Monday and discussed various issues including the implementation of Disha Act, Special Courts for criminal investigations against women and children, measures for reducing crime rate, strengthening of police forces and drug menace.
Reviewing the Disha Bill and Disha App, he opined that it is not fair to keep it pending so long even after the Assembly passed the Disha Bill and directed the officials to look into the issue and take action accordingly.
