Hyderabad: 25-year-old Jockey dies after fall from horse at Malakpet race course; HRC postpones 7th race

Hyderabad, Jan 3 (UNI) A 25-year-old jockey Jitendra Singh of Hyderabad Race Club (HRC) died after a fall while racing at the Malakpet race course here on Sunday.
Jitendra, while riding ‘Gold Label’ horse in the fray for the Osman Sagar Plate (Div-ii), about 1200 Meteres (Cat-II) , the fourth race during the 8th day of Hyderabad winter races 2020-21, has accidentally fell down from the racing horse and injured , according to Chaderghat police here.
He was immediately shifted to a nearby corporate hospital, where doctors have declared him brought dead.
