New Delhi, Sep 14 (UNI) A legislation which seeks to empower the Centre to control production, supply, distribution, trade, and commerce in certain commodities, was introduced in the Lok Sabha on Monday.
The Essential Commodities (Amendment) Bill, 2020 was introduced by Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Raosaheb Patil Danve.
The Bill seeks to amend the Essential Commodities Act, 1955.
