New Delhi, Mar 8 (UNI) The paths of the iconic JLN Stadium in New Delhi were painted pink on Friday as the 1st Edition of the Fit India Pink Cyclothon-2024 took place, aligning with the Fit India Movement championed by the Honourable Prime Minister.
Organised by SPEFL-SC in association with Skill India, NCIET, NSDC, FICCI, SPEFL-SC, and Fit India, this event marked a significant milestone in promoting women’s health, fitness, and inclusivity.
Dedicated to the cause of women’s empowerment and fitness, the event kicked off on the auspicious occasion of International Women’s Day, starting at 6 am and continuing until 10 am. Under the guidance of Ekta Vishnoi, Director of Mission FIT India, and Arun Kumar Gupta, Director, the event saw a vibrant mix of activities aimed at engaging participants and spectators alike.Participants took part in a cycling run, zumba sessions, and various other programs designed to inspire and promote fitness.
