New Delhi, Aug 24 (UNI) Flood, irrigation and Water minister Satyendar Jain on Monday said the water level in Yamuna is around 204 meters, and the Delhi government is ready to deal with any flood-like situation.
The water level of Yamuna river rose, following the release of water from Hathini Kund Barrage in Haryana. The water level has been recorded at over 204 meters at Old Yamuna Bridge in the city.
"Right now the water level is below the danger mark. The control room has been prepared to deal with any situation. Flood control has been given the instructions, the entire system is in order," the minister said.
