New Delhi Sep 17 (UNI) Punjab Congress chief Navjot singh Sidhu on Friday taunted the president of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) Sukhbir Singh Badal, calling him as the "creators and defenders" of three farm bills passed by the government last year.
Sidhu remarks came after the Sukhbir Singh Badal and former union minister Harsimrat Kaur, along with party workers staged a protest against the three farm laws in New Delhi on Friday.
In a tweet, Sidhu said, “There are lies, white lies, then there is a bundle of lies called Sukha Gappi … The creators and defenders of the black laws are shedding crocodile tears today!! Your drama stands exposed…
“Centre’s three Black Laws are authored by the Badals … Farm Laws are photostat copies of Badal’s Contract Farming Act 2013," he alleged.
Attacking the APP government in Delhi, for notifying the one law of the three farm laws, he said, “ @ArvindKejriwal Ji you notified the Private Mandi’s central black law ! Has it been de-notified or the masquerading is still going on?
The Delhi government has notified the Farmers’ Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Ordinance, 2020, one of the three laws which have sparked protests by farmers allowing trade of food grains and poultry outside the premises of APMC mandis.
