Satish Chandra Dubey takes oath as RS member

New Delhi, Oct 22 (UNI) BJP leader Satish Chandra Dubey on Tuesday took oath as a member of Rajya Sabha from Bihar.
Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu administered the oath to Mr Dubey.


The 44-year-old leader got elected to the Upper House in the October 9 by-elections for Bihar seat which got vacant after the demise of noted lawyer Ram Jethmalani.
He was earlier a Member of Parliament of the Lok Sabha from 2005 to May 2014. He had also been a Member of Bihar Legislative Assembly.

Leader of the House Thawar Chand Gehlot, Minister of Animal Husbandry, Dairying & Fisheries Giriraj Singh, Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan among others were present on the occasion.
