RS issues notices to Sharad Yadav, Ali Anwar Ansari

New Delhi, Oct 20 (UNI) The Rajya Sabha secretariat has issued notices to rebel Janata Dal (United) leaders Sharad Yadav and Ali Anwar Ansari , asking them to appear before Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu on October 30 to present their case in the petition from leader of the party in the House Ram Chandra Prasad Singh seeking their disqualification. Taking cognizance of the petition field by Mr Ram Chandra Prasad Singh, Mr Sharad Yadav and Mr Ansari have been issued notices asking them to appear before the Rajya Sabha Chairman to present their case. A delegation of the JD(U), lead by Rajya Sabha MP RCP Singh, had submitted a petition to the Rajya Sabha Chairman seeking disqualification of Mr Yadav and Mr Ansari. Mr Singh had sought disqualification of the two members due to their indulgence in anti party activities. Mr Yadav and Mr Ansari had broken away from Nitish Kumar faction of the JD(U) after he broke ties with RJD and Congress and forged ties with the BJP in July this year. UNI AR SHK 2011
