Rajiv Gandhi's policies shaped modern India: Rahul remembers father on 31st death anniversary

New Delhi, May 21 (UNI ) Congress president Sonia Gandhi and party leader Priyanka Gandhi on Saturday paid tribute to former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi on his 31st death anniversary at Vir Bhumi in New Delhi.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also paid homage to his father and called him a visionary leader, whose policies helped shape modern India.
In a tweet, Rahul said, "He was a compassionate and kind man, and a wonderful father to me and Priyanka, who taught us the value of forgiveness and empathy. I dearly miss him and fondly remember the time we spent together."
