Stop making a spectacle of the party, express your intention : Sibal to Pilot

New Delhi, Jul 24 (UNI) Lashing out at rebel Congress leader Sachin Pilot, Senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal on Friday asked him not to make a spectacle of his own party in front of everyone if he still claims to be a Congressman.
Addressing a press conference, Sibal , replying to a question on Pilot at a press conference said ,' what is that Sachin Pilot actually wants , why is he not coming to the party and telling us his intention. If at all there is any difference of opinion with someone
in the party then please come forward and speak about it in open.'
Sibal asked Pilot that , if he still calls himself a part of the Congress , then what is the need of sitting in Haryana
and not being present in his home state.
'If you call yourself a part of the party then why did you not attend the party meeting on July 13,' Sibal said adding that,
' if you are planning to join the BJP , then please tell us that , or if yu have plans of floating your own party then be clear on
that, and if you wish to become the Chief Minister then tell this in open and let people know.'
The senior Congress leader furrher said that ,' if you are in dissent with the Congress party then please tell the people of country.'
Mr Sibal said that being a member of a party and behaving in this manner is not the right thing to do .
'It is just making a mockery of the party and one's own self,'Sibal said .
'You cannot become the CM with just 20 -25 MLAs when the party has a majority of much more MLAs in the assembly,' Sibal added.
He also said that Mr Pilot has had a fine career after becoming a MP at an early age on the party's ticket and also becoming a minister at a young age.
'What is it that you want Mr Pilot I want to ask,' questioned the senior Congress leader.
