New Delhi, Oct 11 (UNI) Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Sunday again hit out at the Yogi Adityanath government over the alleged gang-rape in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh, saying that the 'shameful truth was that many Indians did not consider Dalits, Muslims and Tribals as human".
He was referring to the September 14 alleged gang-rape of the 19-year-old Dalit girl in Hathras who later died of injuries sustained in the attack at Safdarjung Hospital in the national capital on September 29.
In a post on micro blogging site twitter, the Wayanad MP wrote, "The shameful truth is many Indians don’t consider Dalits, Muslims and Tribals to be human.
The CM & his police say no one was raped because for them, and many other Indians, she was NO ONE."
The case has been handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for a probe.
