New Delhi, Mar 1 (UNI) Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Friday rubbished the slogan of the BJP's 'double engine' government and said the deteriorating law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh proves that the BJP's 'double engine' government is nothing but a ‘guarantee of Jungle Raj'.
In a post on X, Rahul Gandhi said, "The law-and-order situation in Uttar Pradesh is the biggest example of how the BJP and the Modi media together are doing 'business of lies'.
He said at some places, bodies of minor sisters were found hanging from trees, and somewhere, murders were committed by crushing the victims with bricks. Somewhere, BJP men bravely committed gang rape on the campus of IIT-BHU, and somewhere, a female judge is driven to take her own life after not getting justice.
He said this is the condition of that state whose law and order system Modi media never gets tired of praising.
The most horrific illustration of Uttar Pradesh's broken law and order situation is the recent murder of a Dalit student coming from a class 10 exam in Rampur, which was carried out in response to a demand for the Ambedkar memorial.
He added that today, Congress workers will raise their voice for justice in Uttar Pradesh and demonstrate against the BJP machinery and criminals in every district and tehsil.
