Football player Amrinder Singh urges media not to confuse him with former Punjab CM

New Delhi, Sep 30 (UNI) Indian football player Amrinder Singh urged the media not to confuse him with former Chief Minister of Punjab Captain Amarinder Singh, here on Thursday.
The football player, a namesake of the former Punjab CM pointed out that there was confusion on Twitter where people are tagging him instead of Captain Amarinder in political posts amid the political crisis in Punjab. He requested the journalists to stop tagging him on Twitter.
"Dear News Media, Journalists, I am Amrinder Singh, Goalkeeper of Indian Football Team and not the Former Chief Minister of the state of Punjab. Please stop tagging me," the goalkeeper posted on Twitter.
