India slams US report on Human Rights; Terms it

New Delhi, Apr 25 (UNI) India on Thursday slammed the US State Department report on Human Rights in Manipur violence and termed it "deeply biased".
Addressing a weekly press conference here the Spokespersons of the Ministry of External Affairs Randhir Jaiswal said "This report is deeply biased and reflects a poor understanding of India. We attach no value to it and urge you to do the same."
The annual report of the State Department highlighted instances of human rights abuses in Manipur following the outbreak of ethnic conflict.
