India records 5,108 new Covid cases

India records 5,108 new Covid cases

New Delhi, Sep 14 (UNI) India has registered 5,108 new Covid-19 cases, the Health Ministry said on Wednesday.

The total caseload rose to 4,45,10,057 while the toll rose to 5,28,216 as 31 more succumbed to the disease.
On the other hand, 5,675 people recuperated from the disease, taking the tally to 4,39,36,092. The recovery rate stands at 98.72 per cent.

The active caseload stands at 45,749, the figures showed.
As per the bulletin, 89.02 crore tests for Covid-19 have been done so far.
India has administered 215.67 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccine so far under the ongoing nationwide vaccination drive.
