New Delhi, Oct 13 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party on Tuesday announced its candidates for the ensuing bypolls to the Legislative Assemblies of Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka and Nagaland.
The BJP's central election committee finalised six names for Uttar Pradesh, one for Nagaland and two for Karnataka.
In UP, the party will field Sangeeta Chauhan from Naugawan Sadat, Usha Sirohi from Bulandshahr, Prempal Dhangar from Tundla (SC), Shrikant Katiyar from Bangermau, Upendra Paswan from Ghatampur (SC) and Manoj Singh from Malhani.
Lirimong Sangtam will be the BJP candidate from Pungro-Kiphire (ST) in Nagaland.
In Karnataka, Dr RaJesh Gowda is the party candidate from Sira and Munirathna from Rajarajeshwarinagar, party national general secretary Arun Singh said in a statement here.
The bypolls will be held on November 3 with results on November 10.
