ED files case against TMC leader Mahua Moitra in cash-for-query probe

New Delhi, Apr 2 (UNI) The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday registered a money laundering case against Trinamool Congress leader Mahua Moitra in the cash-for-query probe.
The case has been registered on the basis of an FIR filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) against the expelled TMC lawmaker.
The CBI action came at the direction of anti-corruption ombudsman Lokpal, who issued the directions after receiving findings of the agency’s preliminary inquiry into allegations made by BJP Lok Sabha member Nishikant Dubey against Moitra.
