Top Air Force commanders to discuss border standoff with China

New Delhi, Jul 19 (UNI) Amid the ongoing border standoff with China, top commanders of Indian Air Force (IAF) will discuss the situation on the Line of Actual Control in Eastern Ladakh and rapid operational station of the Rafale combat aircraft arriving later this month.
The three-day-long Air Force Commanders' Conference will start on July 22 to carry out an in-depth review of the air defence system.
The focus would be to deliberate on the overall situation Eastern Ladakh and on ways to enhance the IAF's combat prowess over the country's air space in all sensitive sectors along the de-facto border with China including in Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim and Uttarakhand, sources in the Air Force said.
