Prez , PM and other leaders extend wishes to Air Warriors

New Delhi, Oct 8 (UNI) President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other leaders on Friday extended their greetings to the air warriors on the occasion of 89th Air Force day.
The Indian Air Force was founded on this day in 1932.
In his message on Twitter, President Kovind said, “Greetings to air warriors, veterans & their families on Air Force Day. The nation is proud of the Indian Air Force which has proved its competency and capability time and again during peace and war. I am sure the IAF will continue to maintain its cherished standards of excellence”.
While extending his wishes to the brave soldiers and their families, PM Modi said the Indian Air Force is synonymous with courage, diligence and professionalism.
“Greetings to our air warriors and their families on Air Force Day. The Indian Air Force is synonymous with courage, diligence and professionalism. They have distinguished themselves in defending the country and through their humanitarian spirit in times of challenges,” he tweeted.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also extended his wishes to the soldiers on Air force day and stated that the nation is proud of it's air warriors for responding to varied challenges.
“Greetings and warm wishes to all #IndiaAirForce personnel & their families on the 89th anniversary of this indomitable force. We are proud of our air warriors for responding to varied challenges with alacrity and resilience & being steadfast in the service to the Nation," he said in a tweet.
While extending his greetings, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Twitter that, India is proud of the IAF's glorious history.
“On Indian Air Force Day, we salute our brave Air warriors for selflessly serving the nation and protecting its integrity. We are proud of the glorious history of our valorous Air Force. May you continue to inspire the countrymen with your unparalleled devotion and commitment,” he said.
BJP President JP Nadda also took to the twitter and offered his wishes to the families and soldiers.
“On the occasion of 89th Indian Air Force Day, I salute our brave soldiers and their families. The nation is proud of the Indian Air Force for safeguarding our skies with indomitable courage and determination. We are indebted for your dedication & valour for Maa Bharati. Jai Hind,” he said.
Former Union Minister Prakash Javadekar also greeted and said, “We are proud of our Air Force and we salute it on Air Force Day. We are sure that the country is safe in the hands of our Army, Navy and Air Force,”.
