AAP alleges BJP of conspiring to impose President's rule in Delhi

New Delhi, Apr 12 (UNI) Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) alleged on Friday that the BJP-led central government is hatching conspiracies to impose President's rule in Delhi by overthrowing the elected government.
Addressing a press conference, senior party leader Atishi claimed, “Officers have stopped attending meetings, citing the code of conduct as an excuse.”
“Letters are being written by Lieutenant Governor to MHA making baseless allegations against the Delhi government and the removal of the Chief Minister's personal secretary are signs of a conspiracy being hatched to topple the elected government of Delhi,” she alleged.
“Many departments of Delhi Government are vacant but IAS officers are not being deployed by MHA,” Atishi added stating that it indicates that a conspiracy is being hatched to topple Arvind Kejriwal’s government and impose President's rule in the national capital.
“Imposing president’s rule in Delhi will be unconstitutional and against the mandate of the people of the national capital,” the senior AAP leader emphasised.
She continued, “The biggest threat and fear for the BJP is Arvind Kejriwal as his government has worked for the people of Delhi. People have been provided with free electricity and water.”
The AAP government has provided better health facilities, free bus travel to women and a monthly financial assistance of Rs 1,000 to the people of Delhi, Atishi highlighted.
“To stop the benefits and facilities being given to the people of Delhi, BJP wants to impose illegal President's rule here,” she alleged.
