CARS24 pledges to increase female representation in its workforce by 50 pc in 2024

Kolkata, Mar 7 (UNI) To make International Women's Day 2024 even more memorable, CARS24, India's leading Autotech player, on Thursday announced a groundbreaking initiative aimed at fostering gender equality within its organisation and beyond.
Acknowledging the glaring underrepresentation of women in the traditionally male-dominated automotive sector, CARS24 commits to a significant improvement in internal diversity by targeting a 50 per cent increase in current female representation across its workforce, according to a media statement here.
At present, women and LGBTQ individuals constitute less than 20 per cent of CARS24's employee base. This pattern is similar across the automotive industry. To bridge this gap and cultivate a more diverse and inclusive environment, the company is implementing targeted strategies designed to empower all employees to realise their full potential.
