Three killed in separate lightning incidents in Palamu

Daltonganj, Oct 3 (UNI) Two minors were among the three people who lost their lives in separate lightning incidents which took place under different police station areas of the Palamu district on Saturday.
In Samudih village under Hussainabad Police Station area, a farmer Surendra Kumar Yadav (35) was killed as lighting fell in the afternoon. At the time of the incident, the farmer was working in his field.
In Bikhai Palhwa village under Chattarpur Police Station area, two children died while lightning fell over a tree. The deceased have been identified as Ranjeet Kumar (10) and Jaswal Kumar (10) while Rakesh Kumar and Gora Kumar (both 11 years) sustained injuries and were admitted at sub divisional hospital.
