Kolkata Metro achieves huge amount of NFR in 2023-24

Kolkata, Apr 4 (UNI) Metro Railway, Kolkata, achieved outstanding performances, ensuring a huge amount of non-fare revenue (NFR) in the 2023–24 financial year as the earnings stood at Rs 43.56 crores, surpassing 2022–23’s figure of Rs 36.33 crore, official sources said on Thursday.
In March 2024 itself, Metro earned Rs 3.44 crore as NFR, following the guidelines of the Railway Board, in spite of being one of the smallest zones of Indian Railways, CPRO Kausik Mitra said.
