Jindal supplies stainless steel for India’s 1st underwater metro line

Kolkata, Mar 18 (UNI) India's first underwater Metro railway connecting this thickly populated metropolis with Howrah, also a hugely populated industrial district, attracting commuters and recoded over 70,000 travelers on the first day of its commercial services began exactly at 7 am on March 10.
Commenting on this development supplier of steel for this project-Jindal Stainless managing director Abhyuday Jindal, said, “The launch of the underwater metro corridor in Kolkata stands as a powerful testament to India’s infrastructural capabilities, " In a statement he said " We congratulate the Government of India on achieving this milestone. The project not only augments connectivity but also exemplifies the transformative potential of stainless steel in urban infrastructure development. Besides offering a distinctive
travel experience, this monumental initiative is also poised to revolutionise urban transportation through similar marvels in the years to come.”
