NFR runs Kisan special train between Agartala and Sealdah

Agartala, Feb 5 (UNI) Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has introduced a Kisan special train between Agartala and Sealdah to facilitate the farmers to carry their goods from one place to another. And, the first train has already left for Kolkata Thursday evening.
NFR officials here on Friday said that the Kisan special Train will now leave from Agartala at 1915 hrs every Thursday and to reach Sealdah on Saturday at 1300 hrs. The train will have stoppages at Dharmanagar, Badarpur, Lumding, Guwahati, Kamakhya, Goalpara, New Bongaigaon, New Alipurduar, New Coochbehar, New Jalpaiguri, Malda Town, Khaltipur, Bardhaman and Bandel for loading/unloading of firm produces.
The train will facilitate the farmers of Tripura to send their produces to different places of Assam and West Bengal and farmers from West Bengal also could send their products to Tripura through the special train. There is a talk going on to run a separate train between Agartala and Anand Vihar (Delhi).
