TMC constitutes Tripura state committee

Agartala, April 29 (UNI) After a year of its re-entry into Tripura politics in May last year, Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee on Friday announced a 130 members Jambo state committee headed by BJP turned Trinamool leader and steering committee member Subal Bhowmik.
Announcing the committee, TMC Tripura in charge Rajib Banerjee said, Rajya Sabha MP Susmita Dev along with other senior leaders a six-member core committee has been constituted along with four frontal wings of the party.
He said that the party took little longer time to constitute the committee because it spent more time on groundwork to strengthen the base. But, TMC is prepared now to fight back against the misrule of BJP Tripura and to counter the ruling front in upcoming assembly elections.
