Tripura: 80 people joined BJP ahead of ADC vote this year

Ambassa(UNI), Aug 24(UNI) In a bid to strengthen its hold over the tribal dominated areas ahead of the ADC election, 80 voters in a remote hamlet in the subdivision of Ambassa in the northern Tripura district of Dhalai joined the saffron camp today.
Keeping the focus on the ADC election, the ruling BJP arranged a political meeting in the remote Baghmara market in the subdivision here.
In the meeting, a total of 80 voters from 30 families belonging to different political parties joined BJP.

Patna, Apr 26 (UNI) Scorching heat appears to have affected polling percentage during the second phase of Lok Sabha elections in five seats in Bihar, as only 58.58 percent electorate exercised their franchise compared to 62.92 percent in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, which is 4.34 percent less this year.
