Farmers will become kings through Agriculture laws: Sikkim BJP President

Gangtok, Oct 1 (UNI) Farmers of Sikkim will benefit from Agriculture Laws as thy protect the interests of the farmers and allow them to access bigger markets for their produce, state BJP president DB Chauhan said today.
At a press conference here, Chouhan said the state BJP would go among the farmers and make them aware of the benefits of the new farm laws from today and continue till October 15.
With the new laws, the farmers can access national and International markets, he said, adding that the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM)-led state government will also ensure measures for the welfare of the farmers.

Patna, Apr 26 (UNI) Scorching heat appears to have affected polling percentage during the second phase of Lok Sabha elections in five seats in Bihar, as only 58.58 percent electorate exercised their franchise compared to 62.92 percent in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, which is 4.34 percent less this year.
