Mining & Steel companies have contributed huge funds through EB to BJD - Congress

Bhubaneswar, Mar 22 (UNI) AICC media Coordinator Babita Sharma on Friday alleged that many mining and steel companies have contributed huge funds to BJD in Odisha through Electoral Bond.
Addressing media at Congress Bhawan here Sharma said BJD is the 5th richest regional political party which has received Rs. 1019.5 Crores through Electoral Bond just within a period of 6 years from July 16th 2018 to February 2024.
She also came down heavily on the BJP for using IT, CBI, and ED against many corporate houses and was able to encash Rs. 8252 crore out of Rs. 16,518 crore collected by various political parties in the last 5 years.
