Bhubaneswar, Mar 14 (UNI) Putting an end to all political speculations about the possible electoral alliance between the BJP and BJD in Odisha, BJP state President Manmohan Samal on Thursday said his party BJP will alone form the government in the state.
Samal and his team, who have been camping in Delhi for the last couple of days held a series of consultations with the BJP central leaders including Union Home Minister Amit Shah and the party's national President J P Nadda returned to Bhubaneswar on Thursday morning.
After he arrived in Bhubaneswar, Samal told the newsmen at the party’s state headquarters here that BJP alone will contest all the Assembly and Lok Sabha seats in the state.
He emphatically said with the blessings and cooperation of the people of the state, the BJP will form the next government in Odisha.
“BJP will fight the election in Odisha on the main issue of “Odia pride and self-esteem,” Samal said in reply to the query from the media persons.
He said with the cooperation of the people of the state and under the leadership of Narendra Modi, the BJP will alone form the government in the state.
