NPP distances itself from cash seized from vehicle following Meghalaya CM’s convoy

Shillong, Apr 5 (UNI) The National People’s Party (NPP) on Friday distanced itself from the seizure of cash from a vehicle which was following the convoy of Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, who is also national president of the party in Arunachal Pradesh on Thursday.
The cash was seized from the vehicle (AS-01-ET-5252) of the Executive Director of Badri Rai Company, Harshavardhan Singh.
Badri Rai Company has received several construction projects in Meghalaya over the past few years. It is one of the companies building the Meghalaya Assembly at Mawdiangdiang. It is also involved in other big construction projects in the state.
