Meghalaya CM denies plan to work with Congress

Shillong, Sep 28 (UNI) Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, who is also the national president of National People's Party (NPP), has denied any plan to work with the opposition Congress in Meghalaya.
“There is no discussion at all in this line. We are here as MDA (Meghalaya Democratic Alliance) and we are working aggressively to take the state forward so there is no discussion, no issue, no talks in this line at all,” Sangma said.
Media reports were doing the rounds that State Congress president, Vincent H Pala is strategising a plan for post-poll alliance with the NPP post 2023 State assembly polls.

Patna, Apr 26 (UNI) Scorching heat appears to have affected polling percentage during the second phase of Lok Sabha elections in five seats in Bihar, as only 58.58 percent electorate exercised their franchise compared to 62.92 percent in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, which is 4.34 percent less this year.
