BJP to strongly oppose anti-people policies of state government: Saikia

Ranchi, Dec 18 (UNI) BJP national general secretary and in charge of party affairs in Jharkhand Dilip Saikia on Friday said that BJP will play the role of positive opposition and will strongly oppose the anti-people policies of the state government.
Addressing a press conference here he said that the present state government does not want to conduct the panchayat elections and is misleading the farmers on the issue of Agriculture laws while on the other side by closing the schemes related to welfare or the farmers, further the government has no clear intentions over leader of opposition while the development schemes are also shut.
He said that BJP is standing with the farmers and has taken all possible steps to double the income of the farmers. Attacking the Congress party he said that it has a history of divide and rule which the people have understood.
