Unannounced emergency prevailing in Jharkhand: Deepak Prakash

Ranchi, Jan 22 (UNI) Condemning the lathi-charge on contractual employees of the 14th finance commission state BJP president and Rajya Sabha MP Deepak Prakash has accused the state government of acting like a dictator.
He said that beating of even pregnant women, causing head injuries to men by lathi-charge was a reflection of dictatorship rule. He said that in the lathi-charge more than 20 people have sustained serious injuries and such type of acts will not be tolerated by the BJP.
He said that the lathi-charge has also brought into open the real face of the state government. He said that while on one hand crime against women has increased in the state on the other hand the state government was also committing atrocities on them. He said that it was really unfortunate to note how women were beaten by the police.
