Mukesh Sahni of VIP joins Grand Alliance (GA)

Patna, Apr. 5 (UNI) Following the failure of seat-sharing negotiations with NDA, the Vikassheel Insaan Party ( VIP) President Mukesh Sahni who was earlier a partner of the NDA, joined the Grand Alliance (GA) in Bihar.
With the consent of RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, a deal was finalised between Sahni and Tejaswi Prasad Yadav, the opposition leader. Sahni called on Lalu Prasad Yadav during the day and their meeting continued for more than one and hour after which both parties agreed to the alliance. As per the fresh deal, RJD spared three seats from its quota for Sahni.
An announcement was made by Tejaswi Yadav in a joint press conference also attended by Sahni, held here at the RJD party office on Friday afternoon. Yadav said that Gopalganj, Jhanjharpur, and Motihari seats have been spared for Sahni's VIP.
