Double standard of PM Modi stands exposed on constitution change : RJD

Patna, April 17 (UNI) RJD on Wednesday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi is adopting double standard approach on sensitive issue of constitution change as on one hand he vows not to change it while on the other hand, some leaders of his party BJP are openly advocating for changing the constitution.
RJD National spokesman and Rajya Sabha member Manoj Jha told media persons here that double standard approach of PM Modi on constitution change got exposed. On one hand, Modi was claiming that no one, even Baba Bheem Rao Ambedkar himself could change the constitution and there was no question of BJP going for constitution change if party was voted to power after the upcoming Lok Sabha election while on the other hand, several leaders of the BJP were openly talking about the constitution change, he added.
"If PM Modi is so serious and sincere over his assurance that constitution will not be changed, he should immediately take disciplinary action against his party leaders who are talking about the constitution change", Jha said adding that RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat had advocated for review in existing system of reservation in government services and also the constitution in the year 2015 .
