PK slams all parties for promoting nepotism

Patna, April 1 (UNI) Noted poll strategist and founder of "Jan Suraj Mission " Prashant Kishore on Monday slammed all political parties for promoting nepotism and called upon the youths and other sincere persons to join active politics to reverse the trend, set by those having vested interests.
Kishore popularly called PK, told media persons that nepotism was not only confined to RJD but was also prevalent in other parties in Bihar. There was a perception that RJD President Lalu Prasad was promoting his family members in politics but leaders of other parties were indulged in such practice as well, he pointed out.
The poll strategist said the population of Bihar was 13 crores comprising 3.5 crore families. It was strange to note that MLAs, MPs, and other elected representatives had been from only 1250 families since Independence, he added.
