Patna, Nov 17( UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today called upon the people to make united and sustained efforts for development of the estate.
Mr Kumar, after accepting the greetings of workers and leaders, some from other states, on his becoming Chief Minister of Bihar for 7th time, said that he would discharge his responsibility with full dedication and commitment. It was time for all to make united efforts afresh for accelerating the pace of development of Bihar with justice to all sections of the society, he added.
Among those who were present on the occasion, included JD(U) MPs, MLAs, former MLAs, MLCs and leaders from other states including Karnataka and Rajasthan. Bihar Energy Minister Bijendra Prasad Yadav, Water Resources Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhari, Building Construction Minister Ashok Chaudhari, Education Minister Mewalal Chaudhary, Transport Minister Sheila Kumari, JD(U) Rajya Sabha member RCP Singh, former Minister Sanjay Jha and other senior leaders.
