Former BJP MP Gopal Narayan appreciates Modi government for implementation of CAA

Patna, Mar 16 (UNI) Former BJP MP Gopal Narayan Singh on Saturday appreciated the decision of the Narendra Modi government to implement the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), saying it is in the larger interest of minorities harassed in neighbouring countries like Pakistan and Bangladesh.
Singh who is also the chancellor of Gopal Narayan Singh University based in Sasaram, told media persons here that the Narendra Modi government had taken right decision in implementing CAA. It was aimed at protecting the interest of minorities being harassed in neighbouring countries like Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh as a large number of them had taken shelter in India for long, he added.
He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi was a leader of dynamism and vast potential having an intense desire to protect the interest of the nation. Under the present regime at the Centre, national interests could never be either ignored or compromised, he asserted.
